About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to join our team at haart, a leading estate agency in the UK. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of property professionals to achieve exceptional results in residential lettings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily meetings with the property management team to discuss sales strategies and performance metrics.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance, including conducting regular one-to-one meetings and providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage team development and progression, identifying opportunities for growth and training.
  • Focus on generating new and repeat business through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Liaise with tenants to arrange property viewings and negotiate offers, ensuring a smooth and efficient lettings process.
  • Ensure the business is risk-averse and compliant with all regulatory bodies, maintaining the highest standards of property management.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license for a manual vehicle.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential lettings at a senior negotiator position or higher.
  • Ability to work well with others to create a positive and productive team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to residential lettings.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads.
  • Basic IT skills.
