Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Bradfield College. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our catering provision and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of catering assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our catering services.
  • Manage stock control, health and safety, and food safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Contribute to the development of menus and catering services to meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a educational or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
