Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities. This includes performing maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with our engineering team to resolve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, and building management systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement solutions to improve data center efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and report on data center performance metrics, including power usage effectiveness (PUE) and energy efficiency.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • Technical training in electrical, mechanical, or building management systems.
  • Experience in data center operations or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
