About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE Enterprise EMEA. As a key member of our Engineering and Technical Services function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new installations of equipment.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
  • Ensure that equipment is being maintained and operated in a safe manner, adhering to local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Provide efficient and reliable service to our customers, applying general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program is preferred. Master Electrician license is required as dictated by local electrical codes. Valid Driver's license is also required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
