About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Amazon Business team in the EU. As a key member of our Partnerships team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with B2B organizations to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and Pursue Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology and commercial opportunities with partners, define business cases, and drive rapid progress in executing against these opportunities.
  2. Drive Revenue Growth: Engage assigned partners and their end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for Amazon Business, setting and managing partner revenue targets and working with Amazon Business sales organizations in the EU to achieve/exceed goals.
  3. Manage Partner Relationships: Work closely with partners to understand their business needs, develop solutions, and negotiate complex contracts, serving as a liaison to the legal group.
  4. Track and Analyze Performance: Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing, and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes and prepare quarterly business reviews for the senior management team.
Requirements
  • Fluent English: Strong command of English, both written and verbally.
  • Procure-to-Pay Experience: 3+ years of experience working within the procure-to-pay community, with a deep understanding of the B2B ecosystem.
  • Commercial Negotiation Skills: Experience in commercial negotiations and strong program and project management skills.
  • Partnership Management: Track record of successfully owning, driving, and managing partnerships and/or Global Enterprise Accounts against quarterly targets.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like eProcurement software, eInvoicing, and/or generic Software as a Service (SaaS) business models.
  • Analytical and Writing Skills: Strong analytical capability and writing skills to frame opportunities and report on activities and results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA from a Top-Tier School: MBA from a top-tier school.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in a second language (German, French, Spanish, and Italian) is a strong differentiator.
  • B2B Business Development Experience: B2B business development experience, especially partner-based lead generation and customer acquisition in a SaaS company.
