As the Senior Manager for Retail Partnerships, you will represent the Amazon Devices division, taking charge of the strategy that shapes our Devices business within the French retail sector. In this position, you will oversee our strategic partnerships. You will cultivate relationships with significant external retailers, devising sales and marketing strategies aimed at enhancing growth across our Devices and the broader Smart Home category. You will outline and execute plans to optimally serve both new and existing customers while surpassing financial targets that emphasize long-term success over short-term gains.

A successful candidate will demonstrate robust commercial insight, capable of forging deep and integrated partnerships to unlock and maximize growth for Amazon Devices. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful strategist, possessing the energy to operate swiftly. They will have expertise in the dynamics, trends, and challenges of consumer electronics retail.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate and execute the retail strategy for Amazon Devices in France. This involves enhancing collaboration with current strategic retail partners and identifying new sales opportunities. You will implement this strategy in partnership with our channel marketing team across various platforms (both in-store and online).
  2. Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with both new and existing clients, striving for mutually beneficial outcomes for Amazon and its retail partners.
  3. Develop and implement annual joint business plans, including marketing and execution strategies for in-store and digital platforms.
  4. Organize and prepare regular business reviews, focusing on long-term initiatives to foster closer collaboration between Amazon and its partners.
  5. Coordinate the launch of new products, influencing timelines based on channel restrictions and ensuring flawless execution of go-to-market activities across all retail partners.
  6. Present and promote Amazon devices to senior audiences, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of product features and the needs of retail partners.
  7. Drive ongoing enhancements in retail channels by testing innovative marketing initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  1. Fluency in English and French is essential.
  2. Several years of professional experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to both new and existing customers across various market segments.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Familiarity with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
  5. A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Understanding of procurement and source-to-pay processes or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in identifying trends and needs to enhance existing large-scale technology agreements.
  3. Background in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on acquiring new business.
