About the Role:
The Global Client Lead within Amazon Advertising serves as the client partner to one of our large, strategic advertisers. They work directly with the client's global media & brand teams, including 20+ locales, 10+ global brands, and 10+ ad products relationships that are now growing into cross-enterprise engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Account Revenue: Build the global partnership with the client, manage the client relationship, act as trusted advisor and strategic business consultant, and the client's day-to-day lead from Director to C-level in brand marketing, media, data and tech, and ecommerce.
- Enable Local Account Growth: Create incremental local sales opportunities by building a well-connected community of local account executives across North America, EU and Asia, remove blockers that hold back client spending by influencing internal Amazon teams, and monitor and benchmark local account performance.
- Build Efficient Global-Local Processes: Continue improving global-local sales processes, templates and tools that drive global consistency and transparency, interface with the Amazon Stores and Retail organization and other Amazon teams (e.g. AWS, Prime Video) on behalf of the client, and drive the (quarterly) business review process.
Requirements:
- Experience in Advertising Sales: Account management and client services, business development and building strong client relationships, selling nascent products and services, ability to drive solutions to difficult problems, experience successfully engaging and negotiating at C-Level within agencies and agency groups.
- Knowledge and Skills: Data-driven (i.e. programmatic) media trading, deep understanding of global marketing organizations, ability to present to and communicate with large senior audiences, end-to-end expertise across the entire media ecosystem.
