Position Overview: We are excited to announce a vacancy for the role of Information, Advice, and Guidance Coordinator. This position is integral to our Education team, focusing on delivering comprehensive support to individuals in custody.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full suite of Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) services to individuals in custody, including career counseling and planning.
  • Utilize guidance tools to assist individuals in identifying potential career paths and developing personalized skills enhancement plans.
  • Ensure that clients receive clear and relevant information regarding resettlement services while facilitating a seamless transition back into the community.
  • Train and oversee the IAG services provided by Peer Support Workers, ensuring quality and effectiveness in delivery.
  • Deliver IAG qualifications to Peer Support Workers, adhering to the standards set by relevant awarding organizations.
  • Maintain and regularly update prisoner records in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Engage with various referral agencies to generate opportunities for programs and services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay aligned with best practices in the sector.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics are essential.
  • Desirable: TAQA Assessor (Level 3) or equivalent.
