Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team at SolviT Recruitment Ltd. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the shipping process, ensuring that products are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the shipping process, including preparing and processing shipping documents, managing inventory, and tracking shipments.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any shipping-related issues.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the senior shipping coordinator to ensure seamless execution of shipping operations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in shipping or logistics, preferably in a freight forwarding company.
  • Basic understanding of Incoterms 2020.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong office skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A process-driven mindset and ability to work under pressure.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate between £12.82 and £13.33, depending on shipping experience.
  • 5 hours of paid work per week.
  • Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment Ltd.
