Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Administrator to join our team at SolviT Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping of goods outside the UK, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and export procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the shipping of goods to EU and US destinations, including preparation of customs documentation and export paperwork.
  • Work closely with our sales and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and timely shipping of orders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including tracking and tracing of shipments.
  • Collaborate with our logistics partners to resolve any shipping issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform purchase and sales ledger tasks using Sage 200 and Excel, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in shipping and export operations, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 and Excel, with experience in purchase and sales ledger tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
