About the Role:
The Blundellsands Surgery is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused GP Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Book patient appointments with relevant clinicians and manage the practice appointments system.
- Process repeat prescriptions, send texts/letters to patients, and manage electronic communications.
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and other agencies.
Requirements:
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software and data entry.
