Job Summary

The Gillmoss Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors.
  • Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way.
  • Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
  • Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care, and other associated healthcare agencies.
Requirements
  • Good customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
  • Basis IT skills and experience of working in a GP practice or reception experience in an NHS setting.
