About the Role

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a skilled and passionate Self-Defence Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our sports coaching team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality self-defence sessions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging self-defence programmes that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of sessions, including equipment setup and take-down, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Contribute to the development of programming through innovative ideas and suggestions.
  • Champion Fusion's Safeguarding policy and procedures, ensuring the well-being of all customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • A Level 1 or 2 coaching qualification from a relevant governing body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for self-defence and a commitment to delivering high-quality coaching.
