About the Role

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Self-defence Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our sports coaching team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality self-defence training sessions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging self-defence training sessions that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Conduct sessions according to the programme timetable, ensuring classes commence on time and run smoothly.
  • Provide personalized coaching and feedback to customers, helping them achieve their goals and improve their skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative programming and promote the centre's services.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of sessions, including equipment setup and take-down, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Undertake administrative tasks, such as reporting and record-keeping, to support the smooth operation of the centre.
Requirements
  • A Level 1 or 2 coaching qualification from a relevant governing body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for self-defence and a commitment to delivering high-quality training sessions.
