About the Role

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Self-defence Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our sports coaching team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality self-defence sessions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging self-defence programmes that cater to diverse customer needs and abilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of centre programming and services
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of sessions, including equipment setup and take-down
  • Undertake administrative tasks and assist with centre promotions
  • Champion health and safety policies and procedures, and report any concerns or issues promptly
Requirements
  • Level 1 or 2 coaching qualification from a relevant governing body
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong numerical and written skills
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and different learning styles
