Qualifications

Essential Skills & Qualifications for the Role:

To be considered for this position, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A deep understanding and appreciation of the values and ethos of our care facility
  • Current unrestricted registration with the relevant nursing authority
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care is preferred
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and foster education and leadership in aged care
  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans
  • The capability to assess, plan, and implement client care within your scope of practice
  • Consideration of the physical, social, and psychological needs of residents
  • Ability to create and update care plans reflecting the evolving needs of our residents
  • An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Funding Instrument
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient computer and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving abilities
  • Confidence in managing time effectively, including the ability to work independently.
All job offers will be contingent upon a National Police Check and proof of vaccination status.

Current and valid caregiver qualifications, first aid certification, and extensive experience working with the elderly are essential.
