Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our sales initiatives within the environmental and industrial services domain, particularly in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the UK market, emphasizing our environmental and industrial service offerings.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis to pinpoint potential clients and emerging industry trends, integrating insights into the sales approach.
  • Target Achievement: Set clear revenue and margin objectives, creating actionable plans to meet these targets within defined timelines.

Sales Management

  • Pipeline Development: Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring diligent management of all prospects towards successful closure.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential leads, converting them into viable business opportunities.
  • Sales Conversion: Utilize effective sales methodologies to transform leads into profitable transactions, maintaining a high conversion rate.

Client Relationship Management

  • Client Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
  • Risk Assessment: Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate new clients' creditworthiness, ensuring compliance with our standards.
  • Client Retention: Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, fostering repeat business and referrals.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to boost overall team performance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Honours Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of relevant sales experience.
  • Valid driving license.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Experience: Demonstrated success in sales within the environmental or industrial services sectors, with a focus on the energy industry.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for relationship management.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with sales processes, environmental markets, and customer relations, along with an understanding of financial principles and credit risk evaluation.
  • Attributes: Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of independent work, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships.
