Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Brilliant Computers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop and network support, with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer peripherals.
  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows 10, 11, and macOS operating systems.
  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 2010 or higher, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized desktop applications.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
  • Remediate complex AV issues with third-party vendors as needed.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 months of IT experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chip sets, memory modules, and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients and management.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on time.
  • Bilingual (English & Local B2).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
  • Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs.
