Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Assistant to support our Morrisons account team on a part-time basis, working 16 hours per week with flexible scheduling options. This role is integral to our sales team, focusing on key aspects of our commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Assistant, your duties will encompass:
- Overseeing and updating weekly customer tasks to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Reconciling promotional expenditures using customer trackers to ascertain the correct funding owed.
- Managing promotional loading and the overall administration of the Demantra system, including invoice processing and promotional evaluations.
- Completing customer templates for promotional proposals aligned with the business unit's strategy.
- Creating and maintaining category reports and dashboards (IRI/Kantar) to provide insights into customer dynamics.
- Providing additional administrative support as required by the business unit.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Google Docs and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems (Demantra, Ultralysis, Cognos, IRI, Kantar).
- A high level of numeracy, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to adapt and respond to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
- The ability to manage time efficiently and work independently, including potential remote work.
