Brakes, the UK's premier food wholesaler, is seeking a skilled Fresh Produce Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team.
We are a leading force in food wholesaling, part of a global network supplying a vast array of food products to various sectors including pubs, hotels, restaurants, schools, and care homes. Our mission is to deliver outstanding quality and service to our clients, and we are looking for a Fresh Produce Sales Specialist to play a pivotal role in bolstering our fruit and vegetable sales across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales teams to drive fruit and vegetable sales and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Engage with new and existing clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions, utilizing your extensive knowledge of the UK fruit and vegetable market.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of our business and enhancing our services to existing clients.
- Employ your experience with CRM systems to manage customer interactions effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong commercial acumen to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fruit and vegetable sales or a related field would be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the UK fruit and vegetable market would be an advantage.
- Experience working with CRM systems and a proactive approach to sales and customer relations.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic sales team.
- A full driving license and a willingness to travel.
