Job Summary

The Digital Samples Assistant Manager will provide critical support to the Digital Samples Manager and team, ensuring seamless operations and efficient workflow management. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Digital Samples team, including coordinating with Order Management and Digital Merchandising Operations to align order books with deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Digital Samples Manager in critical path planning, calendar management, and set management alongside production.
  • Ensure content readiness, assisting in meeting floor set deadlines and forecasting production arrivals.
  • Collaborate with Order Management and Digital Merchandising Operations to align order books with order deadlines.
  • Manage the Digital Samples Operations Coordinator, ensuring production and re-sampling order deadlines are met and all orders are placed correctly.
  • Support managing and reporting the yearly re-sampling budget of £150,000.
  • Manage the hub ordering process, ensuring weekly in-stock materials are pulled in the office.
  • Liaise with Digital Merchandising Operations to ensure all range drafts are in ahead of additions and cancellations deadlines.
  • Ensure Coordinators are sending orders in time and updating TBCs.
  • Review production delivery dates to forecast delays on a seasonal Floorset Launch.
  • Monitor all goods in and out of DS, ensuring all product received has been goods receipted to ensure Vendors are paid.
  • Oversee the returns process, ensuring returns are being processed frequently.
  • Assist Digital Samples Manager in storage walk-throughs to ensure sample management best practice is followed, as well as managing bi-yearly stock takes.
  • Review ways of working to improve and introduce better efficient ways that improve Third Party Content.
  • Attend key stakeholder and senior leadership meetings as a support to Digital Samples Manager.
  • Manage the overall workload of Coordinators and Assistants, ensuring they are working in efficient and productive ways.
  • Manage the development of the content creation tool Flo for the Digital Samples team, as well as work cross-functionally with other stakeholders to ensure Flo development supports all teams.
Requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple work flows and achieve a high standard.
  • Experience of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent rapport-building skills with all levels of Management.
  • Excellent Team player who is Passionate about Burberry, Products, and the Fashion industry.
  • Will demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in their positive attitude and conduct.
  • Interest or background in digital commerce and content delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in meetings as well as written.
