About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Assistant Manager to join our team at Burberry. As a key member of our Digital Samples team, you will be responsible for providing assistant management to the Digital Samples Manager and the Digital Samples team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Digital Samples Manager in critical path, calendar planning, and set management alongside production.
  • Content Readiness - assist in ensuring content is met by each floor set deadline and forecast production arrivals before deadline.
  • Align Order Books with order deadline by working with Order Management and Digital Merchandising Operations.
  • Manage the DS Operations Coordinator at the start of season to ensure production and re-sampling order deadlines are met and all orders are placed correctly.
  • Manage the Yearly Re-Sampling Budget of £150,000.
  • Manage the Hub Ordering Process and ensure weekly in-stock materials have been pulled in the office.
  • Liaise with Digital Merchandising Operations to ensure all range drafts are in ahead of additions and cancellations deadline.
  • Ensure Coordinators are Sending Orders in time as well as updating TBCs.
  • Review Production Delivery Dates to forecast delays on a seasonal Floorset Launch.
  • Monitor Goods In and Out of DS and ensure all product received has been goods receipted to ensure Vendors are paid.
  • Oversee the Returns Process and ensure returns are being processed frequently.
  • Assist Digital Samples Manager in storage walk-throughs to ensure sample management best practice is followed as well as managing bi-yearly stock take.
  • Review Ways of Working to improve and introduce better efficient ways that improve Third Party Content.
  • Attend Key Stakeholder and Senior Leadership Meetings as a support to Digital Samples Manager.
  • Manage Overall Workload of Coordinators and Assistants ensuring they are working in efficient and productive ways.
  • Manage the Development of the content creation tool Flo for the Digital Samples team as well as work cross-functionally with other stakeholders to ensure Flo development supports all teams.
Requirements
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Work Flows and achieve a high standard.
  • Experience of Working Under Pressure in a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent Rapport Building Skills with all levels of Management.
  • Excellent Team Player who is Passionate about Burberry, Products, and the Fashion industry.
  • Will Demonstrate a High Degree of Professionalism in their positive attitude and conduct.
  • Interest or Background in Digital Commerce and content delivery.
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively in meetings as well as written.
