As a Pathway Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing digital workstream enhancements focused on clinical connectivity, patient outcomes, and collaborative processes with both commercial and clinical teams.

This position involves national responsibilities and will require travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving the secure connectivity of clinical systems, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and healthcare professionals to develop and implement digital technologies that prioritize the patient experience in all improvement efforts.
  • Formulate strategies to enhance patient outcomes through the adoption of digital solutions and process improvements, leveraging data-driven insights and evidence-based methodologies.
  • Facilitate the implementation of connected medical device workflows, identifying opportunities for process enhancements before and after installations.
  • Ensure patient safety by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks associated with manual workflows, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner closely with commercial and clinical teams to align digital transformation initiatives with organizational goals, identify market opportunities, and develop strategies that foster growth and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Certification as a Clinical Nurse Informatics Officer (CNIO) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects within the healthcare sector or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare IT systems.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
