ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of the Public Sector, the successful candidate will be a seasoned commercial leader capable of shaping strategy, inspiring teams, and driving Iron Mountain's ambitious growth objectives within the UK Healthcare sector.

This position will concentrate on formulating strategy, implementing sector plans, fostering a high-performance culture, and maximizing substantial growth opportunities for Iron Mountain. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and mentoring sales teams while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address the most significant challenges faced by our Healthcare clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, managing performance, and developing a high-performing Account Management and Business Development team, along with support functions.
  • Executing strategies that encompass customer segmentation, engagement, and service development while identifying market trends to create value.
  • Promoting integrated cross-selling of Iron Mountain's expanding service offerings, including Records and Information Management (RIM), Information Governance (IG), Digital Solutions, and IT Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  • Leveraging internal and partner resources to enhance the financial health of the vertical and deals.
  • Becoming an industry expert and maintaining a high level of sector knowledge to advise on best practices.
  • Assisting the team in generating and qualifying growth prospects to ensure the 'pipeline' aligns with the business plan for the financial year.
  • Being accountable for all new business revenue growth.
  • Surpassing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual team targets.
  • Upholding the 'Minimum Sales Standards', CRM practices, and Sales Plans for growth.
  • Developing and nurturing quality relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Facilitating change by encouraging the sales team to seek innovative solutions to address customer program challenges.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience in the UK Public Sector, including:

  • Proven ability to manage, coach, motivate, and develop sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Healthcare sector.
  • Background in records management, digital and data services, or business process outsourcing.
  • Strong networking and connectivity within the industry.
  • Understanding of policy frameworks and purchasing behaviors.
  • Strong commercial insight.
  • Creative and focused on customer outcomes.
