About the Role

We are seeking an experienced scientist to provide leadership in education and training for our healthcare science workforce. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategies for healthcare science education across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement education and training programs that meet the needs of our healthcare science workforce.
  • Lead the development of programs that promote lifelong learning, research, and development, and align with the aims of the Imperial College AHSC.
  • Implement an education service that meets the requirements of Investors in People and promotes cultural diversity in the workplace.
  • Work with teams to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our healthcare science workforce.

Person Specification

Education/ Qualifications

  • Completion of a scientist training program or equivalent.
  • HCPC registrant or equivalent.
  • Masters level qualification in healthcare science, with a willingness to undertake a recognised teaching qualification.

Experience

  • Teaching and assessing in clinical practice.
  • Significant experience at a senior healthcare science level at band 7/8a.
  • Experience of undertaking research and improvement projects.
  • Experience of leading and managing teams.

Skills/Knowledge/ Abilities

  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Writing for publication.
