About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Cost Analyst to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our material forecasting and analysis team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and managing our long-term material requirements for internal and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a material cost model within SAP or other modeling software.
  • Forecast material usage and cost for the full project life cycle.
  • Lead regular life cycle cost reviews and ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Support work package management and financial processes.
  • Generate simulations and anticipate changes in material requirements.
  • Report and analyze budget vs actual costs.
  • Identify priorities associated with risk and impact, and set up recovery actions with stakeholders.
  • Analyze and share performance KPIs with different stakeholders.
  • Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plans.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the correct level of information is received.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and maintain a pipeline of potential synergies.
  • Apply APSYS roadmap and standards.
  • Manage Auditable Change Control.
  • Participate in EHS improvement and targets.
  • Enable project growth through accurate forecasting.
Requirements
  • Graduated at least from Higher Education in Business, Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Desirable: Supply Chain certification.
  • Experience with ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, and continuous improvement.
  • Desirable: SAP experience.
  • Inventory management and Material Planning techniques.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate at all levels of an organization.
  • Industrial scheduling.
  • Process-oriented.
  • Supply Chain information systems.
  • Data analytics.
  • Project Management Basics.
