About the Role

As a Supply Chain Manager at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our global supply chains. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization, from operational teams to retail teams, to optimize our supply chains and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Supply Chain Strategies

You will be responsible for defining and implementing supply chain and operating models for various businesses, ensuring that they are aligned with Amazon's overall business objectives.

  1. Analyze and Interpret Data

You will analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities for improvement across supply chains and multiple operations, and develop recommendations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

  1. Partner with Teams

You will partner with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

  1. Support Project Planning and Organization

You will support the planning and organization of complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

A Day in the Life

As a Supply Chain Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for navigating complex challenges and finding creative solutions. You will work closely with multiple teams to resolve issues and drive business results. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Team

Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a critical role in our success, and as a Supply Chain Manager, you will be part of this team. You will work with a diverse group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results and driving innovation.

Requirements
  1. Education

You must have a degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.

  1. Experience

You must have relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership, communicating with stakeholders, and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

  1. Skills

You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have experience with the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Business Analyst or Data Scientist Experience

Experience as a business analyst or data scientist is highly desirable, as is a degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics-related subject or an MBA.

  1. Language Skills

Upper intermediate proficiency in German is preferred, as is experience working in a supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning role.

  1. Data Visualization Skills

Experience using data visualization software, such as Tableau or Quicksight, is highly desirable.
