About the Role
Ferrovial Construction UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that align with Ferrovial's business objectives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and pricing metrics.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Ferrovial's procurement policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on supply chain best practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supply chain or procurement role, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
