Position Summary: We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Water Management Field Specialist. This role is pivotal in our mission to deliver exceptional data services and expertise in water management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field measurements related to water flow, depth, quality, and rainfall at various sites.
  • Install, operate, and maintain telemetry logging equipment essential for data collection.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A strong enthusiasm for outdoor work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Proficient swimming skills and comfort working in water.
  • Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces safely.
  • Competent in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Awareness of safety protocols and potential risks in the field.
  • Educational background in Geography, Maths, English, or a related environmental discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with power and hand tools.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Valid UK driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Experience:

  • No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with hydrometric field data collection is advantageous but not mandatory.

Desirable Attributes:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in an environmental field (e.g., Environmental Science, Geography, Geology).

  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Adaptable and proactive with a strong communication skill set.
  • Team-oriented yet capable of working independently.
  • Passionate about the water and environmental sectors.
