The Business Development team is at the heart of NPL's operations. As we continue to explore innovative applications for our work, the potential for growth is evident.
In your role as a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will have exceptional opportunities to engage with and advise leading industry clients. You will become well-versed in our products and capabilities that have positioned NPL as a leader in the advanced manufacturing sector.
Your focus will be on understanding our offerings, listening to the needs of potential clients, and identifying how we can align our solutions for mutual benefit. You will also have the chance to support proposals, tenders, and bids while fostering relationships both externally and internally to ensure every business opportunity is thoroughly explored.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients through effective communication channels. We aim to ensure customers feel enthusiastic and confident in our offerings. Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify incoming leads by understanding the prospect's requirements, evaluating the opportunity, and arranging follow-up discussions. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain customer relationships by promoting a strong connection to the NPL brand, including our vision, business model, and collaborative sales approach. Sales Pipeline Management: Achieve both individual and team monthly performance targets while aligning with broader team strategies. Participation: Engage in company meetings and customer events to enhance collaboration and visibility. Industry Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, including the use of new technologies and resources.We want our clients to feel secure in their partnership with us. Therefore, a background in Account Management or Business Development, particularly within a scientific context, is preferred. However, if you possess a genuine passion for research in our core areas, we are willing to support your development. Essential skills include customer orientation, business insight, organizational abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to influence.
