About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Professional to join our team at Exceptional Care. As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a stable and loving environment, ensuring each young person achieves positive outcomes and learning experiences.
  • Support young people in their daily lives, including education, leisure activities, and personal development.
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 6-12 months of experience working with children in a residential setting.
  • Full UK manual driving license (preferred).
