Job Title: Children's Residential Care Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Coach to join our team at SuperCare Residential. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily needs of our young residents and helping them develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and Care: Provide individualized support and care to our young residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Life Skills Development: Assist residents in developing essential life skills, such as personal care, cooking, and cleaning, to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Behavioral Support: Work with residents to develop positive behaviors and coping strategies, reducing the risk of challenging behavior.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record and maintain resident information, including progress notes and incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassionate, patient, and resilient, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
