Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Influencer Marketing Strategist to enhance our Affiliates & Partnerships division. This pivotal role is essential in one of Wise's primary user acquisition strategies within the Performance Marketing sector. Our aim is to empower partners to promote Wise through mutually beneficial arrangements. We collaborate with a diverse array of partners worldwide, including comparison platforms, financial bloggers, content creators, and travel agencies.

At Wise, our mission is to elevate our influencer marketing initiatives and penetrate new, promising markets. You will oversee a variety of campaigns, from engaging travel influencers in Australia to spearheading financial literacy initiatives in the United States, as well as orchestrating ambassador programs in Brazil for significant events. We are in search of an individual who can forge partnerships with a broader spectrum of influencers across various channels to access new demographics and highlight the exceptional advantages of Wise.

You will collaborate closely with global marketing teams that leverage influencer marketing for various purposes, whether it’s sourcing talent for public relations efforts, creators for organic social media, or influencer-generated content for paid advertising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influencer Management & New Partnerships:
    • Develop and oversee comprehensive regional influencer campaigns, including strategy formulation, influencer sourcing, rate negotiations, contract management, and performance reporting.
    • Collaborate with regional leaders to identify and evaluate additional influencer channels for expansion.
    • Create and implement extensive influencer marketing campaigns that align with Wise's regional growth targets and audience demographics.
  • Campaign Strategy and Implementation:
    • Design and execute influencer marketing strategies aimed at driving growth and attracting new customers.
    • Work alongside other marketing teams to produce engaging content with broader applications.
  • Regional Oversight:
    • Supervise regional influencer marketing efforts to ensure consistency with the global strategy.
    • Manage regional influencer roles and coordinate activities to maximize local effectiveness.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
    • Deliver regular analysis and reporting at a regional level regarding campaign results and key performance indicators, utilizing this data to refine future strategies.
  • Operational Management:
    • Grasp and execute the operational aspects of influencer agreements, including payment processes, compliance, tool management, and forecasting.
Qualifications

About You

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in influencer marketing with a demonstrated history of developing and scaling influencer programs to achieve customer growth.
  • Familiarity with influencer management agencies.
  • Proven experience in establishing various types and sizes of commercial agreements.
  • Background in monetizing social media followings.
  • A passionate, innovative team player with a genuine enthusiasm for content creation.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to discern performance trends and opportunities, supported by examples of measurement across influencer initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and leading project scaling.
  • Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and influence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing influencers, talent, or ambassadors within the financial technology sector.
  • Background in affiliate marketing.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
