Site Manager

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub Agent / Site Manager to join their team in the Southwestern Region. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for assisting the visiting Director and on-site Works Manager in delivering infrastructure works for a major new housing estate.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and coordination of infrastructure works, including earthworks, Section 278 works, road construction, and drainage installation.
- Lead toolbox talks, daily briefings, and site inductions to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Work closely with the Site Agent and commercial team to raise early warning notices and promote the highest levels of health and safety on site.
- Liaise with stakeholders on public-facing projects and ensure that your workforce is working safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Read drawings with the site engineer to coordinate gangs and overcome design difficulties.
- Ensure that risk assessments and method statements are adhered to and that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
