Job Title: Sub Agent

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub Agent to join our client's team in the Southwestern Region. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in delivering infrastructure works for a major new housing estate.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the visiting Director and on-site Works Manager in delivering infrastructure works, including earthworks, Section 278 works, roads construction, new drainage, culvert installation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ordering plant, labour, and materials
  • Leading toolbox talks, daily briefings, and site inductions
  • Working with the Site Agent and commercial team to raise early warning notices
  • Promoting the highest levels of health and safety on site
  • Liaising with stakeholders on public-facing projects
  • Ensuring the workforce is working safely, effectively, and efficiently
  • Reading drawings with the site engineer to coordinate gangs and overcome design difficulties
  • Ensuring risk assessments and method statements are being adhered to
