About the Role:

The CV Library is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub Agent / Site Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our infrastructure works team, you will be responsible for assisting the visiting Director and on-site Works Manager in delivering major groundworks projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the visiting Director and on-site Works Manager in delivering infrastructure works for major new housing estates.
  • Coordinate earthworks, Section 278 works, road construction, new drainage, culvert installation, and other related tasks.
  • Order plant, labour, and materials as required.
  • Lead toolbox talks, daily briefings, and site inductions to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Work with the Site Agent and commercial team to raise early warning notices and promote the highest levels of health and safety on site.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on public-facing projects and ensure that your workforce is working safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Read drawings with the site engineer to coordinate gangs and overcome design difficulties.
  • Ensure risk assessments and method statements are being adhered to.
