Framework Manager - Midlands based (with travel)

£75k salary - Car or Allowance - 33 Days Holiday - Bonus - Water industry

J3A Recruitment is proud to be working closely with a leading contractor within the water sector. With operations spanning throughout the UK and an incredibly healthy orderbook, they are looking to expand their senior divisions with key personnel to reach targets and help support with continued growth.

As the Framework Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects through the local regions. You will be the go-to contact for clients and responsible for business growth in the region as well as responsible for business performance.

Key Responsibilities for the Framework Manager
  1. Be responsible for both direct and indirect reports consisting of Project Managers, Engineering & Site Operational staff.
  2. Work closely with other senior management to ensure performance and targets are met.
  3. Responsible for the tendering, management, and delivery of secured works and growth on North West Frameworks.
  4. Responsible for P&L, forecast, resourcing, KPI reporting and programme management.
  5. Understand client's businesses and seek opportunities for further workload.
To be successful as Framework Manager
  1. HND or similar in Engineering (ideally Mechanical or Electrical but open).
  2. 3+ years working in a similar senior position.
  3. Previous experience working within the water industry, ideally through a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
  4. Good understanding of Utilities operations along with good commercial acumen.
  5. Proven leadership skills and able to guide and support teams.
  6. Able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, Programme, and NEC Contracts.
  7. IT literate in MS Office packages including MS Project.
Package for the Framework Manager
  1. £75,000 basic salary (potentially flexible within reason for the right person).
  2. 33 days holiday.
