About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects of national importance, working closely with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues from other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver projects successfully.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing projects and programmes for government bodies or other significant public sector clients.
  • Chartered project professional (APM) or equivalent.
  • NEC 3/4 accredited.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large technical multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
