Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Scruffy Dog Creative Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of projects, including liaison with clients, supervision of project team members, and oversight of project implementation, financial management, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction risk and opportunities effectively, identifying, allocating, and managing risk and opportunities, and taking effective mitigation measures to reduce on-site risk.
  • Provide strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for the successful implementation of project activities.
  • Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for construction projects, reviewing and interpreting proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications for appropriateness to required function and/or institutional standard.
  • Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met, and prepare project specifications and coordinate procurement as appropriate.
  • Manage the activities of all members of the Planning staff as they are involved in the project, including one Point of Contact, and accounting, communications, and administrative staff assigned to the project.

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or a relevant field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a construction project manager.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
