Job Summary
Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our tax department, you will work closely with clients, including complex multinationals and smaller OMBs, to develop excellent relationships and undertake a mix of compliance and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review compliance work undertaken by junior team members and prepare complex computations.
- Work on advisory projects across various tax matters, including R&D, succession planning, group reorgs, due diligence, management buy-outs, restructuring, tax audit, and international work.
- Collaborate with senior staff to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support team development.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualifications.
- Clear corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy firm.
- Confidence in reviewing corporate tax computations and working on advisory projects.
