Job Title: Business Development Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Edwards & Pearce Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales with existing customers and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow sales with existing customers and key accounts
  • Take orders by phone and email, process sales orders, and arrange dispatch with coordination with the warehouse team
  • Raise replenishment purchase orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the shelf
  • Good knowledge of Sage
  • Ability to generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and visit them as needed for business development and other business matters
  • Prepare and submit sales reports as desired by management
  • Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs
  • Provide daily reports of field sales success and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors
Essential Requirements:
  • Must have B2B product-sales knowledge and experience of handling/managing key accounts
  • Willingness to travel at least 1 day per week to visit customers for sales development, attending sample trials, seeing product in function, etc.
  • A confident communicator with a can-do attitude, with a polite but firm telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers
  • A commercial, common-sense approach
  • Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Recognise the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness for the bigger picture
