Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Volunteer and Community Development Coordinator. This role will play a crucial part in revitalizing our volunteer program and community engagement efforts in the post-pandemic era.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide training and ongoing support to volunteers.
  • Accurately maintain data within our volunteer database.
Community Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders.
  • Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
  • Promote our organization's programs and services to the community.
Program Development
  • Assist in implementing our new volunteer-led programs and initiatives.
  • Provide input on innovative volunteer program planning and development based on community needs and current trends in the field of volunteerism and volunteer management.
Requirements
  • Completion of a University Undergraduate Program or Community College Diploma Program in social work or community development or non-profit management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in the field of volunteer management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Docs, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Database.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
