Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team at Hounslow Family Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients through the practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients
    • Respond to patient inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies, both verbally and in writing
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel welcome, informed, and supported throughout their visit
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information
    • Process and manage patient appointments, including scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling
    • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other duties as required
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with the practice team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
  • Experience
    • Confident speaker
    • Proficient typing skills
    • IT skills (experience with office 365, outlook, etc.)
    • Customer facing experience
