About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Analyst to join our team at ABM. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the strategic goals of our organization are met through demand and supply modeling, capacity planning, collaboration, and effective communication.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop Long-Term and Short-Term Demand and Labour Plans
  • Support Business Decisions through the preparation of timely and accurate demand plans, with a focus on improving the customer experience and maximizing operational efficiencies.
  • Provide Analysis and Recommendations to improve staffing levels and efficiency.
  • Allocate Recurrent Mandatory Training to ensure all team members are compliant.
  • Research and Analysis of Data to draw valid conclusions.
  • Lead Projects that will enable our division to continually improve processes by identifying, sharing, and implementing best practices within and across sites.
  • Analysis of Data using web tools and other Company software and prepares recommendations and reports to drive high-impact process improvement efforts.
  • Study Department Work, vacation, and absence records (shrinkage) for ongoing historical trend analysis and offer recommendations for forecasting purposes.
  • Work with Site Leaders to ensure adequate staff, contingency plans, and workflow monitoring.
  • Communicate Effectively with internal and external customers in accordance with the company's policies, procedures, guidelines, and common practices.
  • Interface with Operational Leaders to understand the fast-changing business needs and make updates where necessary.
  • Stay Current on Internal Policies and Procedures.
  • Effectively Communicate with peers and those we support in the business to ensure high-quality and timely completion of work requests.
  • Update Workforce Management and Other Databases as changes occur.
  • Act as Configuration and Usage Super User for the Inform and FindmyShift system.
