We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Administrator to join our team at Work Wales.

About the Role

This is a brand new, full-time position in our administration team, taking on duties from our existing team members. It is a back-office role providing administrative support for our two branches.

You will work on-site at our Port Talbot branch, Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The role will start as a temporary assignment with a view to becoming permanent within the first few weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls from customers and suppliers
  • Working on an in-house computer package (training will be provided)
  • Invoicing
  • Working with the purchase and sales ledger
  • Debtors
  • Data capturing
  • General administration
  • Filing
  • Assisting the administration team wherever needed

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills, and attributes:

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Able to handle a large variety of tasks
  • A quick learner
  • Solid computer literacy skills using MS Office
  • Experience using an accounting package or in-house equivalent system
  • A flexible person happy to help out where required
  • True team player
  • Friendly and positive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills
