Administration Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our schools, pupils, and parents.
Main Duties
The Administration Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing general advice and guidance on policies and procedures
- Organising and managing safeguarding training
- Administering fixed penalty notices and commencing court action against parents who fail to regularly send their child to school
- Assisting with the delivery of basic safeguarding training to chaperones involved in child performances
- Processing child performance licences
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound administrative, office management, record-keeping, and ICT skills
- Experience in working with databases
- 4 GCSEs (grade A to C) or equivalent, to include English Language and Maths
