About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our CAMHS Crisis Care service at West London NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist mental health services to children and young people across the West London area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and work therapeutically with children, adolescents, and their families within a mental health setting.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address the mental health needs of young people.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide crisis intervention and support to children and young people in crisis.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to families, carers, and other professionals involved in the care of young people.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new service initiatives and improvements.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification and registration as a Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist.
  • Evidence of accredited courses in child and adolescent mental health practice.
  • Mentorship/Teaching & Assessing qualification.
  • Training in prevention and management of violence and aggression.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to work.
