Position Overview

**A strong technical background in Power Electronics is essential for this role**

We are seeking a Technical Programme Manager for Battery NEXUS, a leading provider of Lithium-ion battery solutions aimed at replacing traditional lead-acid systems and enhancing stationary energy storage capabilities.

This role requires full-time on-site engagement.

  • Lead and oversee the design, development, and introduction of AI-driven hardware products tailored for the Lithium battery sector.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for technical initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage, nurture, and mentor a diverse engineering team comprising mechanical, software, production, and electronics specialists.
  • Coordinate government-funded projects in partnership with industrial collaborators and academic institutions. Conduct technical evaluations and actively oversee projects to ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Support the company's growth strategies and advise the management team on international business establishment, logistics, and contract electronics manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to create promotional materials and content for various AI-driven products.

Technical Leadership

  • Offer electrical and electronics engineering insights and technical assistance during engineering assessments, strategic planning, and project execution.
  • Oversee resource distribution, financial planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Manage cost estimations for units and development, assisting in the procurement of raw materials for ongoing projects.
  • Engage directly with electronics and electrical hardware products, aiding engineering teams in testing, troubleshooting, and product debugging.
  • Develop project timelines and maintain current design and manufacturing processes.
  • Establish and enhance a comprehensive engineering strategy to uphold engineering best practices.
  • Facilitate design evaluations and formulate production strategies in collaboration with contract electronics manufacturing partners.
  • Engage with suppliers in international markets to manage the production of sub-assemblies and ensure compliance with CE certifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in industrial sectors, particularly in Lithium battery, automotive, or aerospace industries.

Demonstrated experience in a leadership or engineering management/technical project management role.

Expertise in the design and development of electronic hardware.

Experience collaborating with suppliers from international markets is highly advantageous.

Degree in Engineering: Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics is required.

A Master's degree is preferred. Project management certifications such as PMP or Prince 2 are desirable.
