We are seeking a Technical Programme Manager for a leading provider of Lithium-ion battery solutions aimed at replacing traditional lead-acid batteries and enhancing stationary energy storage systems.
This role requires full-time on-site engagement.
- Lead and oversee the design, development, and introduction of AI-driven hardware products tailored for the Lithium battery sector.
- Offer strategic direction and leadership for technical initiatives across the organization.
- Guide, develop, and mentor a diverse engineering team, including mechanical, software, production, and electronics engineers.
- Manage government-funded projects in partnership with industrial collaborators and academic institutions. Conduct technical evaluations and actively oversee projects to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Support the company's growth strategies and advise the management team on international business establishment, logistics, and contract electronics manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to create promotional materials and content for various AI-driven products.
Technical Oversight
- Provide expert electrical and electronics engineering insights and technical assistance during engineering assessments, strategic planning, and project execution.
- Oversee resource distribution, financial planning, resource scheduling, and project timelines.
- Manage cost estimations for units and development, assisting in sourcing raw materials for ongoing product development.
- Engage directly with electronics and electrical hardware products, aiding engineering teams in testing, troubleshooting, and product debugging.
- Develop project plans and maintain current design and manufacturing processes.
- Establish and enhance a comprehensive engineering strategy to uphold engineering best practices.
- Lead design evaluations and formulate production strategies in collaboration with contract electronics manufacturing partners.
- Coordinate with manufacturers in international locations to produce sub-assemblies and ensure compliance with CE certifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in industrial sectors, particularly in Lithium battery, automotive, or aerospace industries.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or engineering management/technical project management role.
Background in the design and development of electronic hardware.
Experience collaborating with suppliers from international markets will be a significant advantage.
Degree in Engineering: Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics is required.
A Master's degree is preferred. Project management certifications such as PMP or Prince 2 are advantageous.
