Lead Land Assembly Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Land Referencing Technical Lead to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our Land Assembly team. This position requires effective leadership and management of a skilled team with extensive experience in TWAO, CPO, and DCO projects, while also overseeing financial performance to meet and surpass budgetary expectations. The ideal candidate will enhance the company’s standing in the land referencing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing comprehensive project plans and allocating resources effectively.
- Overseeing daily operations and coordination of technical land referencing activities.
- Ensuring that client purchase orders are established and that any variations are properly approved and tracked.
- Delivering expert advice and management for a diverse range of clients in the property sector.
- Guaranteeing that technical teams fulfill their tasks within the designated timeframes and budget constraints.
- Enhancing team performance through ongoing management and support.
- Identifying and addressing training and development needs within the team.
- Generating resource, scope, and cost estimates to facilitate commercial tender submissions.
The successful candidate will possess extensive skills in Land Referencing, ideally with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects as part of multidisciplinary teams. A solid understanding of planning and compulsory purchase legislation is essential, along with familiarity in utilizing GIS for digitizing title plans and a basic understanding of database systems for generating statutory notices and reference books.
Knowledge of the Planning Act and associated land referencing regulations is advantageous, as is a strong commercial acumen, including finance and technical project management expertise. A business development mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality to clients is highly valued.
